Eligibility:
Priority is given to those applicants who are
employed by the Department, contract providers, other County
departments, family members and consumers. Staff approved for
training who fail to attend such training twice will be required
to justify that absence to the Department’s Director.
Locations: Training sessions are held
in a variety of locations to provide easier access to staff
throughout the mental health system. Event sites are accessible
to and usable by people with a disability. For further information
about individual sites or to request disability-related accommodations,
call (213) 738-2318 or the individual Training Coordinator
listed as the contact for each training event.
Staff
should bring their County ID badges to all training events.
