About TCCB

The Training and Cultural Competency Bureau is charged with providing support and training to the employees of the local mental health plan. The objectives of the program are to enhance existing skills and provide new skills to the professional, para-professional and clerical staffs of the Department and its contract providers. Educational programs are designed to be responsive to legislative mandates, Department and local mental health plan priorities, program staff needs and community issues. Your evaluation of these training opportunities is critical to the Training and Cultural Competency Bureau’s efforts to enhance the skills of our staff. Our primary aim is to provide world-class services to our consumers and we firmly believe that well-trained staff are essential to that endeavor.
