Mental Health Services Act (Proposition 63)
During the November 2004 General Election, the Mental Health Services Act (Prop 63) was approved by California Voters to address the unmet needs of individuals with severe mental illnesses. Prop 63 will bring significant resources to Los Angeles County to expand mental health services to children, adults, and seniors.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities.
The Monthly Stakeholder Delegate meetings occur once a month and are open to the community at large. The purpose of these meetings are:
- To serve as the guiding body for the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health by providing recommendations for the distribution of new funding and providing recommendations for transforming the current community mental health system.
- To share current information and make decisions regarding the planning process of Proposition 63/Mental Health Services Act (MHSA).
- To share information about the LAC-DMH's current budget.
- To share reports from the County-wide Population Ad Hoc workgroups.
Group Compositions.
- Stakeholder Delegates are comprised of community representatives that have been chosen to serve as group representatives for various Los Angeles county departments, community organizations, and ethnic and special needs population groups.
