		The Student Professional Development program is administered by the Training Division. The Program involves a training partnership with accredited professional schools and places students in a wide variety of clinical and administrative settings. In addition to placement, students have an opportunity to participant in a wide variety of training opportunities. Stipends may be available to students who intend to be employed, after graduation, in the public mental health system of Los Angeles County. As a result of their placement within DMH, many students have been employed by DMH or one of its contract providers.
